Kilaguni Lodge – Tsavo West National Park, Kenya
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is situated in Tsavo West National Park close to the Mtito Andei Gate which is 260 kilometers South East of Nairobi and 240 kilometers North East of Mombasa on the Nairobi – Mombasa highway. It takes approximately 3 hours from Nairobi by road.
The Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge 56 rooms (inclusive of 5 suites: all non-smoking) have their own verandas, some overlooking the waterhole, some the Chyulu Hills, which are one of the world’s youngest volcanic ranges.
Kilaguni’s waterhole is considered to offer the finest terraced savannah game viewing in Kenya, and in the night you can listen to the sounds of herds of buffalo and elephant grazing outside your bedroom.
Ngulia Safari Lodge
It is located in Tsavo West National Park which a home to a big host of wild animals. The Lodge can be accessed from Nairobi (260 km away), through Mtito Andei Gate or from Mombasa (250km away) through Tsavo River Gate.
It is nestled on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, overlooking the Rhino Sanctuary surrounded by Scenic Hills.
It has 52 standard rooms, all with bath and shower and a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit water holes. The Lodge has two restaurants: The main restaurant – built in an open–air style, has a view of floodlit water holes and the Leopard dinning tree.
There is the Leopard view bar open in the evenings before the arrival of the real leopard from the wilderness. Guests can also enjoy their meals as they watch the leopard feast, and other animals drink water.
The Lodge is an ideal base from which to explore Tsavo, one of the world’s largest national parks, boasting more than sixty mammal species within its borders.
Ngulia Safari Lodge is renown as a haven for bird lovers who come every year between October and December to watch migrating birds escaping the harsh winter conditions of the northern hemisphere. Ngulia Safari Lodge is the only place where this activity takes place in Kenya.
Salt Lick Lodge – Taita Hills Sanctuary, Kenya
Salt Lick Lodge is located in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary off Voi town and is a truly unique hotel consisting of 96 rooms elevated on stilts, each overlooking a waterhole and linked by suspended walkways.
At night, the waterhole is floodlit ensuring that guests enjoy an uninterrupted view of the daily procession of thirsty wildlife that comes to water at the waterhole.

All the beds have mosquito nets and each room is equipped with an electric fan.

Voi Safari Lodge was the first lodge to build in Tsavo East National Park; Voi Safari Lodge is built on a high outcrop known as Lion Hill overlooking the vast plains. Voi Safari Lodge rooms are not as luxurious as other lodges due to its age but are adequate. However the general areas restaurant bars shops reception viewing and dining areas and areas are beautiful as are the surrounding gardens which are both frequently visited by Yellow Baboons, Hyrax and flocks of Swallows who have set up home in the lodge itself.
